Default Replacing Headlights for 1998 Ram 2500...

Guys,

I have a 1998 Ram 2500 12v Cummins Diesel. I want to upgrade my headlights. Instead of replacing with new ones, I want to convert them to the HID/LED lights.

I found Spyder 1PC CCFL LED Projector Headlights - Chrome (847245010070) for $170 and 1PC Halo LED Projector Headlights - Chrome (847245010094) for $140. I thought LEDs are more expensive and better than CFLs? Any thoughts on this?

Also, just replacing my me headlights with this will get them to LED lights or I still need to convert my original lights/bulbs to HID?

Thanx.
Z

that doesn't come with HID bulbs/ballasts/igniters

also the projectors in cheap aftermarket lights are very poor quality.

high quality projectors take a lot more work as you have to retrofit them into the housings yourself....cost a lot more too...
