Default Towing

Does anyone have good towing info. I currently tow a 9600 lb travel trailer, but would love to get a big fifth wheel. It seems the ones I want are heavy. Even more than a 3500 is rated to tow. Also, does the tow rating take into account fifth wheel or gooseneck towing? It seems the rating would be higher for this than off the rear hitch.

Default RE: Towing

the one aspect us dodge boys have to watch closer than anything else is the pin weight of the 5rv. since you have a 2500 you can add on airbags and this will put your 2500 to a 3500 since the rear axel's are the same AAM 11.50's. however one thing us dodge boys do know is that we have an engine that will pull a loaded tractor trailer with ease

however the one thing you do not want to go over is the GCVWR. but Dodge purposfully lowers that number to stay in their eyes safe, but I know many that pull over 20K and that is just whats on the trailer
