Are your guys MPG for real?
Fuels in FL are not blended for winter. They do not even need to be unless temps fall to or below zero. Oil companies blend fuels to flow at 15 degrees below normal temps for your area.
I get 21mpg highway driving 65 mph, or 19.3 mpg at 75 mph. My only mods are Amsoil air cleaner and Amsoil Series 3000 engine oil. My truck is a 2001, 2500, 4x4, short box with 3.73 rear.

2001 2500 RWD Quad Cab with 105000 miles just getting broken in. Mods SS 5" exhaust. I'm getting 21-22 MPG Hwy. at 65-70mph. Towing my 6K boat. approx. 17-18 MPG at 65-70 MPH.. It only gets better with age!
I've got a 2005 CTD quad 4x4 with a longbox and 4.10 gears. I've added quite a bit of weight with accessories. It's got about 20k miles on it and when I'm not towing my horse trailers get about 17.5 with a combination of highway and city but mostly two lane blacktop backroads. Towing my 16K lb trailer I haven't checked it because I'm afraid of the result. Ha Ha.
I have a 2005 3500 DRW 3.73s 4x4 Automatic 48RE... On the highway I get 16.6mpg hand calculated around town about 13. Approx 7000 miles on it. Was hoping for a little better
but this is what I got...

If anyone thinks CTD's get good mileage, check out the PowerStroke guys. Between my ex-father in law and members of my unit with Ford diesels, they all get around 25 MPG. I almost bought one,

i have an 04 1500 ram, hemi sport and i thought having 15 with a hemi was ok. but then i added flowmaster exhaust and it bumped it up to 16.4 city 19 high way. i was amazed at such an improve ment. i was wondering if any one knew if i added cool air intake if that would bump it up as well[8D]
i was thinking about putting dual exhaust on my cummins. Was thinking goin with the stock size of 3 1/2 but goin dual right after the turbo. Good idea?? I don't have alot of spare cash or I would just buy a exhaust kit. Would this help mpg letting it flow alittle more??
