1st has this fuel been stored in your truck tank or some other out side container, if in outside container i would suggest filtering it before i put it in to the truck. (the use of a old white sheet will work well just to strain it) diesel fuel has was in it like candle was that some form of alge/bactirea attches to and it leaves what looks like black slimey stuff in the bootom of the tank it gets stored in. if it was in the tank of the truck i would just carry 1 or 2 extra fuel filters with me till i got it burnt out the Power Service additives siver bottle and white bottle 1 kills the black growing goo the other disolves the wax cant rember witch is witch but a quick look at the back of the bottles will tell u i live on a farm we have a 1000 gal tank fer off road that usally lasts us bout 2 years between fill ups so storing it is not a problem as long as u strain it or filter it.

the grey bottle is just a cetane booster and fuel system lube. the white bottle has anti-gelling properties, there is a red bottle I believe that you dump into the tank to de-gell the fuel if it is gelled.

possum is right, diesel fuel that has sat will have alge/bacteria growth since diesel is actualy more like an oil than anything.
