I'm not sure how many Nissan fans there are on this site, but I do know how many Cummins fans are here: a lot. That's why I locked down a 2016 Nissan Titan XD to review.

the titan certainly was in need of an update. 10 years unchanged on the same design. They looked nice but did not hold up well compared to the big 3.

I wonder if fca should have went with this small cummins vs their fiat eco-diesel.

Is it fast?

Does it suffer from "dead pedal"

Once you get the 5.0-liter Cummins lit, it pulls hard.

Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to pull a trailer, but I did use the bed to haul some lumber and ladders.

The Titan XD uses a six-speed heavy-duty AISIN transmission.

Recently, I was given a chance to live with a 2016 Nissan Titan XD, the Texas Auto Writers Association's 2015 "Truck of Texas," for a week.

Default why the V8

With the long successful history of Cummins in line 6 cylinder engines, why the change to a V8?
