What air filter kit cold air intake is best?
So I am going to start my mods off slow and hopefully not effect my warranty. So which ari box do you all recommend? K and N or ARE or what? Also I heard somehwere that this may raise my EGT's true? or nothing to worry about?
i have an Airraid Intake on my 04.5. i like it and it was easy to install. i doubt if any brand of intake is that much better than the others, but some of the other guys may know more about this.
I went withan afe stage 2 with pro guard 7. I think filtration is important, so I went with the pro guard 7. I think it has better filtration than most. I think a stage one is good, and the stage 2 is good, or for like $90 you just drop a filter in your existing box.

Personally, I installed the Airraid Jr on my 05.
I ordered it with the MIT and did notice a little better throttle responce.

Without knowing precisely which model your modifying I'm not sure how much room you have or what would work best for your unit. I have had some great luck with the series 63 K&N. Doing my research with some performing gearheads, I got almost unanimous endorcement of K&N units. Most have the fitting to reinstall your air flow sensor. I would insure compatability before buying, but If you match the intake to your unit, chances are good you'r not likely to have any sensor conflict.
