I have an '07 5.9 quad,my problem came about 2 weeks ago...it starts when cold,but once it warms up and I shut it off,it refuses to turn over...no it's not a mechanical problem....once it cools right down (1-2 days) the pre ignite light comes on and it starts....when I shut it off the pre ignite light doesn't come on...and the letters that show gear selection don't come on either...the mechanic thinks it's a cold solder joint somewhere in the power module (yikes)...batteries and starter are good as is the wiring,fuses......any ideas guys ?
P.S. Do these models have an encryption code on the power module ? Thx Guys
