Went to leave for work yesterday morning, truck stated fine and as I was about to put it in gear it started bucking/misfiring. Truck now has dead pedal, will crank over a lot and eventually start but again not running well.
Code p1688 showed up and everyone says it's the vp44 on its way out.
I've got a FASS lift pump. I'm just wondering if the dead pedal and rough idle are symptoms of a bad vp
