Default Looking into getting a Dodge Diesel

I'm looking into getting a Dodge 2500 with years 2010-2014 or a Dodge 1500 eco diesel 2014 and was wondering what issues you guys have had with them and which one would suit me best. I plan on towering a 22 boat about 500 miles a year, hauling dirt and gravel, and plan on driving about 15000 miles a year.

ME TOO... except maybe go back to 2007, and would pull 5000# TT 5,000 mi a year... retired so not a daily driver

Any insight would be great

07-10 are early emissions, higher rate of problematic issues. 13+ have DEF and seem to be better all around.

They need to be worked.

Do a search on youtube about ecodiesel issues, apparently the chain sprocket on the passenger head is press fit and after a while spins. http://www.carbuzz.com/news/2016/3/2...ilure-7732734/
