Default Crazy headlight issues

Long story short bought truck with POS HIDs > went back to Stock Halogens. Keeps blowing (like shattering) passenger side headlights. Went through 2 Silverstars within 30 miles drive time.

Tried new connector > Now getting 26 Volts at connector with engine off.

99.9% sure I wired it correctly with ground in pin 2.

Any suggestions ?? Thanks in advance

Sounds like you still have a ballast on the passenger's side.

Have you looked at the back of your Silverstar box? Take a look at the life expectancy of the Silverstar and compare it to a basic Silvania bulb.
