Thumbs down Dome lights on cab don't work after car stereo install

I removed the stereo that was in the vehicle and installed a replacement I failed to disconnect the harness prior to cutting the wires after I cut the wires something must have shorted because the dome light on the interior cab quit working along with the light that is connected on the back window of the truck the one that lights up the bed of the truck I've checked all of the fuses they're good I'll check to see if there's power at the dome light there is none I read a couple things saying something about BCM and other issues with control modules can anyone help me?
