Default Anti Gel

At what temperature should a person start using anti gel? Is it needed?

I have been told that today's diesel does not require additional anti-gel additives because the manufacturers will have the fuel already winterized. although i am not sure if this is a regional thing

I called the gas station and they informed me that they already have it in their fuel.

I don't know if I completely agree with that. On several occasions here in massachusetts they've canceled school because all the diesle in the school buses Gelled. They get diesle from our local gas stations.

North of Kansas City our thermometer showed minus 15 last night. Our 2005 Dodge Cummings cranked right off and ran well.
I have added nothing to the fuel
