I am about to drop some new injectors in my 3rd gen 5.9. I am upgrading (?) to 40% 90hp injectors.

Is this a mistake?

I seem to be running sluggish but not all the time. There are some days the thing runs like a beast and then all of a sudden seems sluggish.

I thought maybe a bare wire grounding out somewhere?

Maybe a sticky injector??

Turbo maybe???

My edge chip?

I dont know...

A few times a year it will take 5 to 10 times turning the key to get it started, then poof, white smoke and she is back to normal. I am assuming that is a bad injector sticking. I have new ones on the way (30% - 90hp). Hope that's not a mistake,,,, but who doesn't want extra HP?


Has anyone ever had sluggish performance than awesome performance? or, has anyone had bad luck upgrading injectors?

I hope my new injectors will fix the issue, if not i will be about $2500 bucks sad.
