2016 3500 Cummins liquid leak
2016 3500 6.7 Cummins 4x4 DRW. Dealer replaced heater grid ($1600). Stopped at store 20 miles from dealer and found leak dripping under left side engine. I thought it was A/C condensation mixed with fresh oil residue from repair job so I drove home another 25 miles. Started engine this morning and left a trail of rapidly leaking fluid as I backed up 10 feet and shut it down. Crawling underneath, I can see clear fluid dripping rapidly from the engine area near where the repairs were made but can't see the source. Very lightweight fluid with slight petroleum smell. All fluid levels appear normal at present. Any help is appreciated

In fact, any kind of leak can lead to a serious problem and costly repairs in the future. A friend of mine had a similar situation, he just had his 5.9 Cummins engine oil changed and drove off and saw a leak. He was surprised because he had been working with these guys for a long time, they always filled him with the best oil for 5.9 Cummins and never had any problems. So it's a good thing he towed it back in time and it turned out they didn't tighten the drain plug bolt enough and the oil started leaking. This is all dangerous and can lead to accidents on the road. So I also recommend just towing it back and having them look at what they screwed in wrong
