Default Fuel Tank Removal

I am removing the fuel tank from a '99 3500 w/cummins. I can't seem to get the electrical jack and the fuel lines removed. The fuel is drained and the tank is loose but i can't get the fittings on the fuel lines off. They are a connection i have never seem before, a plastic fitting with two small blue tabs on the end. I was going to try to pry the blue tabs loose with a screwdriver, but i thought i would ask you guys first. I electrical jack seems to be a standard style, however, i can't get a good grip on it to try to pull it free. I'd appreciate any advice i can get.
