I recently picked up this truck and I know the DPF has already been deleted. The EGR system is still physically there, but I’m not sure if it’s actually been disabled or not. I just ordered a tuner and I’m trying to figure out the setup.
When configuring a 6.4 Powerstroke EGR DPF delete tuner, it asks whether the emissions equipment has been removed. Since I know the DPF is gone but I’m unsure about the EGR, I’m not sure how I should answer that question.
Could selecting the wrong option cause any major issues with the tune or the truck? I’m pretty new to diesels, so any advice would be appreciated.
