Default lookin to buy...

hey all!
first post ever, serious questions and replies very much coveted. i'm lookin to buy a cummins, and wonderin if i should get a 2500 or 3500 dually. i'm lookin for a truck that i can possibly chip and mod to get better perf. and milage, leanin towards perf. which truck is better for this? or should i go for the ford[:'(] but seriously, honest and helpful comments very much needed. this forum has a reputation for bein awesome, i've seen it a lot.

the 24 valve Cummins Turbo Diesel is the best motor out bar none, I have a 2003 3500 single wheel and I pull around 18,000 pounds of material every day. I pass Power Chokes all day and still get about 18 MPG without a mod or chip. So I bet that with the mod you would really have a serious performing truck

IMHO, I think you would like the 2500 better.
Reason being is that you would have to compensate for the weight of the extra wheels.
It actually is a personal choice.

the only reason to get the DRW is if you plan on doing alot of towing with a 5vr.

2500 or 3500 are the same thing except the extra load the suspension of the 3500 can take. you can get a 3500 in SRW BTW
