looks like you installed a trash can under your hood..... but nice job.... cool to see everything fit and im sure it was alot cheaper than going a pre-made intake route like i did.

I'm looking at this pic and I just wanted to clarify ... that other end IS plugged with something right? Any chance of the turbo sucking whatever it's plugged with right on through?
. And no a5.9l wont pull that into the intake. Heck those are the same size filters used with these engines

Fleet Pride does carry those filters ( www.fleetpride.com) they are a nation wide hvy diesel shop.
they carry fuel, and oil filters for our trucks, 1st to 3rd gen. at least. maybe even 4th gen.

the 4th gens will just be a body change. now wether or not they will carry the filters needed for the V6 and V8 1500's I dont know. I would imagine they would.
