As an Amsoil dealer, I'm a bit baffled by their decision to sell Wix filters. Just a couple of years ago, Amsoil's own literature showed Wix as one of the worst filters out there. At that time they were offering Hastings.

Thirteen years ago I worked as a mechanic on construction equipment. Every time I pulled a Wix air filter, there was evidence of dirt getting through. With Donaldson, I never saw a problem. I hope Wix has indeed improved their quality since then. I can't reccommend them to anyone. I would go with the Donaldson.
