Default Ref: Changing radio out

Has anyone changed out there stock radio for the stock radio with nav, dvd, cd and satalite? The dash size is the same just unsure of adaptablity and the remaining Sirus free satalite service I have. I have the little antenna above the rear brake light as well. Thanks

I Have an 05 and I have not changed the radio as of yet but have done many in the past. But when the time comes I will consult with www.crutchfield.com they are 2nd to none when it comes to car radios. They should be able to give you all of the info. that you need for a complete replacement including any pig tails to plug straight into your factory wireing harness.

Hope this helped.

What he is asking is if the stock dodge radio with navi will work.

The question here would be does the navi unit require any hide away boxes.
I have not had a chance to mess with the 06 to see if their is a speed sense in the factory harness.

The sirius would just either transfer radio id's or may use the same.

Call the dealer and find out what all boxes are required to be put in the truck for the navi unit and this will give you an idea of how hard the install is.
also the navi anttenna is something you need to find out about as well.

Hopefully this can help you.
If you have any other questions just ask.
