water temp on 2005 hd 2500//

Default water temp on 2005 hd 2500//

what should the temp gauge be reading on my new 2500?? it only has 300 miles on it and it consistantly runs at around 200 is this normal for a diesel???

For what its worth, mine is an 05 and basically stock.
Even running in the summer with the a/c on it doesnt get more than just shy of the 200 mark.

remember when its that new and durring break in its going to create more heat that it will once its broke in

200 straight up. Almost all the time. It runs a few degrees hotter towing in the summertime with the A/C on, up hill
