Default Rear end or tranny

ok so here is the sittuation. i have a 1998.5 2500 club cab long box ctd. and if i drive it for a long period of time at high speeds (long enough for everthing to get to opp. temp) i develope a slip or shudder somewhere when im turning. almost seems like the trans is slipping but it only does it at slow speeds when im turning or braking. not in a straight line. it has a limited slip rear end and i belive thats what it is but i have never felt one do this. im wanting to know if ne one else has experianced this or what else could be causing this. i just bought the truck and i dont know if maybe the guy b4 me didnt put the right additives in the rear end or what.

Sounds like what happens when the friction modifier isn't in the rear-end. Good place to start by throwing a bottle in there.

I'd just get a bottle form the dealer, I think it's about $10. Without it you will eventually blow the LS clutches out, not a real big deal, they usually just fall to the bottom of the housing and sit on the magnet, but you then have a one wheel wonder instead of LS rearend.
