I had the same question. So I went back to the dealer and he printed me out a "VIP Summary Report" which has every option that is on my 2006, 2500 CTD.

no, the G56 has shorter gears so when you are in 6th you are running a .79, my NV5600 is running a .76(I think) so when it comes down to it my NV5600 with 4.10's is turning the same RPM's as your G56 with 3.73's
http://dodgeram.org/tech/transmission/NV5600/mt_11.htm Your NV5600 sixth gear is a .73. Thought you would like to know.

My 1st Gen 4x4 CTD has a small metal tag bolted right to the differential cover plate with the axle ratio stamped into it (mine is 3.54.) Most diffs I've seen do as well.

the DANA's usualy had that on there unless they had been re-geared.

the AAM's only have one thing stamped on them. . 'AAM' the onlything on my truck that tells me the ratio is the transfer, 2.73:1
