PS- PSD Defective and Recalled!!
FYI: Just got back from Wally world looking for more PS and could not find any, was told that they were told this morning to pull all of it off the shelf, gray and white bottles[
] as it had been recalled and they did not know when they would get new stock.
interesting, I guess it is a good thing I'm stocked up on two more gallons of the stuff. I just need to pick up some MMO.
I looked the site over and cannot find anything about a recall.
edit: forgot to add, if it is a while before you can find it again Lucas, Standyne, and howes all work as well.

this sucks... 2 things... Drew, your getting short changed, each container is only 3 quarts
[:@]... I stopped by w-mart and found 2 large bottles, went up to the check-out and the lady had this funny look on her face and said, I cant sell it to you. i'm like huh? I said " what about the other bottle?" as I started to chuckle... it also came up with the message on the register "do not sale" I instantly thru myself onto the counter and screamed "WWHHYYY?... My truck needs its fix! It's gonna go thru withdrawls and minute now! Common lady, it neeeds it!" when she was done laughing, she said sorry. we finished the convo by telling her that it gave me a solid 1.5 mpg better in my truck and that it was probably a consipiracy from the oil companies to squash out that mpg gain. Just then a super walked by and checked on what was going on and said the exact same consipiracy statement I did... anyway, no go on the juice!

What I am surprised at is several parts houses still have PS in stock for sale and have not heard about any recall or so they tell me. Is it possable that only Wallys got a bad batch of PS?
Are you saying that you were able to get it somewhere else? If there is a recall, i'd expect it would be at all parts houses. It would be nice for them to post something on their website...
also, fyi, I shot them an e-mail to see what's up. If I get a reply, I'll let you guy's know...

I did some scanning around the net and found this out about Power Service
this is why they are being pulled off the shelf
They are being returned to the manufacturer - Power Service Products - to have a sticker placed on the container indicating that the contacts are Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) compliant (they have complied for the last two years). Apparently the label requirement becomes law in June of this year. Walmart won't sell you the white bottle either if it does not have the compliance listed on the container.
