Default overdrive question for 2006 ctd

Hey guys, I had a question about the overdrive feature on my truck. Should I only have the overdrive on when I am on the interstate? Or should I just leave it on? I live in the city, and do a lot of stop and go. Also does overdrive have anything to do with Fuel mileage?
Thanks..
Kevin

leave it in overdrive ,unless your pulling heavy loads and the transmission is constantly downshifting, it will be fine.

I think your truck has 3 modes on the tranny, (not 100% sure though), a tow/haul mode, OD off and normal. I'd use the tow/haul mode around town. i've used it off and on and it rocks. downshifts when it should and holds a gear a little longer before up-shifting...
