my daughter just called to tell me that her mpg has gone up again... last tank it was 28.12, this tank it's 29.3 mpg.

at my recommendation (ok, she's the guinne pig) I had her swap a quart of MMO for a quart of dino oil in her last oil change. she was previously getting 23~24 mpg consistently... the last 2 tanks have been the same type of driving, mostly hiway.

I also put a quart in the wifes 3.9L dak & my other 3.9L dak (yeah, we currently have 4 dodge trucks in our house), the wife mentioned that she got about .5 mpg better than her average of 17~17.2 on her last fillup which happend when the oil was changed at the 1/2 way mark on the gas guage. it'll be interesting to see what she comes back with next week.

 

I'm keeping tabs on this. . .sounds good but I should know more when I switch over to full synthetics.

 

the wifes dak is using mobil 1 15w50 synthetic already with the mmo additive (from last saturday)... everyone else is on dino oil.
