Default Cummins charging problem

I'm having a problem getting my 1990 D250 CTD to charge, i'm thinking the only thing left it could be in the voltage regulator, is it possible that the voltage regulator could be the problem, if so where is it located, thanx for any and all help..

Not sure, but I think the regulator is internal to the alt..

well i figured it out, it was the voltage Regulator.
