Default Mud Flaps

Well this is a touchy subject with me but i just found out here in utah it is law to cover 50% of your tire and my only solution is mud flaps... so mad i love my truck the way it is but i dont want to scratch my truck all up and i dont want to fling rock all over people behind me... but why does it have to look so bad? well anyways my question is has anyone been able to put on mudflaps and make them look decent?? i have a 2" leveling kit and 35" tires... pictures would be awsome and if you knew who to buy a good set of flaps from that would be awsome as well look through my gallery to see my pics so you know what i am up against...

Yep, I know. Utah does suck. My buddy got quit a few pull overs a few years back. Anyways I have been looking for some decent ones myself. All I have is stock and they will probably mess with me still just cause. Anyway let me know if you find some here in Salt Lake hopefully.

California has laws regarding how much tire is exposed outside the fender, and aftermarket wheels always push the tires out beyond the limit - but I don't know of anyone who's gotten a ticket for that in years here...too many more serious issues for the CHP to go after with all the vehicles on the road. But I still suck in my breath whenever the CHP pulls up alongsde of me...
So do you really mean mudflaps, or perhaps are you thinking of fender lips or flares that cover the whole radius of the tire the fender does? Dodge makes nice mudflaps that are easy to install, but they're only going to stop some rocks from being thrown backwards if your tires extend beyond the fenders up top. If your tires indeed extend out past the fenders at the top, you need some lips or flares - like Dodge has on their power wagon series. A lot of off-road retailers have similar units - I'd scan pics 'til I found the ones I like and then find out where they came from.
Personally, I like the idea put out here about X-Line or similar coatings on the rockers - I wanted to get mine done in SoCal but the X-Line guys discouraged me because they said it'd be cost prohibitive - maybe I should try a different shop...(and that won't address the tire coverage - and maybe Utah patrols have more time to chase this down?)
