there was a previous posting about the stickers on fuel pumps and it didnt hit me untill I saw this that all this pollution crap that is going on these engines as to why it would be harmfull to run LSD in an engine designed to run ULSD.

the particulate filter will clog when running LSD, that filter and other smog related equipment runs around 5 grand.

power might not go down since the actual spec numbers are going up, but what will go down is MPG. when will these tree huggers realize back in the 70's there were vehicles getting 50-60 mpg useing carberators

every pump is required to have ULSD, the only thing is every region is going to be different as to the cut off date.

most stations here in the ATL area are running ULSD, and have been for the past year or so. however the more rural areas are still running LSD, I doubt the supply of LSD is that great right now since the EPA and other tree huggers have been having their commie orgy's as to ways to screw John Q. Public.

dont get me wrong, all this computerized crap is great when you can pump 250hp out of a 2.4L 4 banger, or better yet go from 325 stock hp to over 400 by altering the electronic signals.

but back in the day when catalytic converters were unknown, fuel was leaded, and everything ran off of mechanical injection/spark you could have an engine that got 50-60mpg, or an engine that can see over 1000hp.

read up on the kyoto treaty. the U.S. didnt sign it thankfully. The environmental commies are taking other means to implement this disaster to the U.S. economy and this is only the begining.
