are you correcting for mileage? my 295's were 9.3% low on the speedo...

 

yes i did factor that in i took my truck to the dealer to get the speedo recalculated and they messed it up in the oppisite direction now for ever 18 miles i go i have accually gone 19 miles so i went 542 miles devided by 18 gives me 30.11 i subtract that from 542 that gives me 512 then i take 512 and devide that by 31 and get 16.5mpg.....

 

huh? 19/18 = 1.055... speedo error = 5.5%
5.5% off... 541 * 1.055 = 570.75 mi/31 gal = 18.38 mpg...

 

wish this place had a chat sheesh...that was way over my head steve i am a simple man....

 

it did.. no one used it except a few of us (me included) so it was removed...

ah, ok, looks like they went too far... your error is 94.4% of your miles on the odo... so if you did 541, 541 * .944 = 510.7 which means 510.7/31 = 16.47 mpg... that matches your #'s... I dont know how you came up with them but if they work for you great. I just view it as an % error. that way it's the same # regardless of how many miles you've driven.

well i feel like a have new friends at Quadzilla i called them to find the best way to get around the dealer not warranteeing my rig and you know what them beautiful people told me do you know what they told me they told me there chip leaves absolutlly no foot print none nada non traceable [:-] at first i felt this unbelivable so i asked some questions and said well they could prolly find out if they digged in the computer enough right and they said nope what part of untraceable do you want us to explain... muhahahhahahahhahahah so i started thinking is this the perfect chip or what 4 mpg gain and i can keep my warranty intact they said even so the only times they even know of that a chip will make something malfunction is if your running a extra 130hp towing uphill and junk which is not my intention i run 60hp loaded or unloaded but anyways they were so kind i am accually going to get there commander i think.. and i might even tell people around here about them and put some kinda mod on my truck to let people know what i run...
