I am in the process of building a 2005 CTD 2500 QC 4x4 for myself. (it was a rollover) but when I bought it and got it home, I took it for a test drive, and driving normal, it was fine, but when I stood on the throttle (like I thought you was suppose to drive a CTD), The black smoke bellered out and it took off like a raped ape. My question is how do I tell if its had any computer tuning done to it? any info would greatly be appreciated.

 

that would be kinda hard to do without hooking it to an OBDII scanner.

if she's blowing some good smoke out the pipe and spins the tires at will, I would say there is something there.
