Default Transmission Fill Plug

Does anyone know what size a hex wrench it takes to remove the fill plug on NV5600 transmission?

dont

I just changed out the fluid in my NV5600 and I pulled out the bottom bolt from the PTO cover to drain, then I pulled the top bolt to fill. this gives you a little more capacity.

Ive got pics and will get up a how to soon on both the NV5600 and the axels. BTW, what tranny fluid are you gunna go to, the NV5600 is VERY picky when it comes to fluid. I used AMSoil 5w-30 MTF that is made for the NV5600.

but if you are wondering it is a 17mm hex

edit: BTW, if you can and it would be a good thing is to remove one of the PTO covers and reach in and grab the magnet that is in the bottom of the case and check it out / clean it off. I couldnt get my cover off. I tried for the better part of an hour and nearly shoved a flathead screwdriver through my hand in the process before I gave up.

Thanks alot, I never thought about removing the top bolt. I'm sure it will work much better.
