Just purchased a 2004 Dodge Ram QCSB with the cummins. I did post prior on a vibration problem that I have about 70 mph but, I have to ask a stupid question. How do I know what hp engine I have? My manufacture date on the drivers side door is 06 04 but I don't see any other specifics. I have the 48RE tranny. Any insight to what the hp of the engine is?

should be a tag on the engine, cummins usually puts them on the drivers side on the front cover or on the valve cover. I think a scan tool can also read it.
