I have a 1998 dodge cummins, manual transmission, it won't start because there is no power going to the fuel shutoff solenoid. If I hold up on the fuel shutoff valve it will run but the gauges on the dash won't work. There has to be an electrical problem but I would appreciate any advice on where to start looking or what could be the problem.

Some other information that might help: all lights work, the radio works, fuel shutoff solenoid is good, windshield wipers/washing fluid sprayer work, all lights on dash work
