New to the whole Diesel thing here so be gentle! I am the new owner of a 97' 2500 4x4 with 88k on the clock and a few questions. First, what opitons do I have in the way of tuners. I just want to wake the truck up a bit. Second, I have a intermittent problem starting the beast. With temps in the low 60's, wait for the wait to start to go out, hit the key, motor spins but does not fire. Same drill the second attempt, Third time it lights. Any help would be great. Love the site Later Grunt

Not sure on the starting problem. I have the Bully Dog Tripple Dog, and love it. Intake and exhaust should be your first projects though. A programmer wont do much good you're engine cant breathe.

Well i dont know about the starting issue but. About the tuners.....their isnt any tuners available for you truck you can only use tuners on 1998.5 and above because thats when they put all the elctronic controll stuff on them!! You can get a #10 fuel plate and turn the star wheel and get some real good power! But i am new too all this too so i cant help a whole lot.
