My neighbor just bought a 2006 ctd and he wants me to put in a tranny temp gauge for him. my question is, where do you guys put the sensor in the tranny. on my psd there was a plug that you just unscrew and screw in the sensor. is this the case on the dodge as well? his truck is a 2006 ctd, auto ,2500 4x4 crew cab or mega cab or whatever it is called. thanks in advance.

welcome to DF...

I'm not sure if there is a plug in the stock pan or not but on my MagHytech pan there is. My suggestion is go to the top of the forum to the merry christmas thread and go to the link where the manual is and have a look at it. you'll have to download it though. i'm not sure if there is one for an '06 or not but there is for sure one for the '05. if nothing else, you'll at least have a service manual for it.
