Default RE: Banks Intake Manifold

several users I dug up in my search showed a loss in hp & tq. not sure how they keep selling them but that's what they said. I opted for the ATS manifold

http://www.atsdiesel.com/ATSWebsite/...InManifold.asp

I LOVE this manifold! it does what they claim on the dyno from what I can tell (my butt dyno). w/o a perf box in place, the AFE intake and the magnaflow exhaust, there is a noticeable boost in low end torque. the tranny does not want to downshift as much meaning i'm not in the throttle as much to keep my normal speeds. looking back at my mpg table, it's hard to say what the mileage increase is as most of it was done with my edge on #1 setting. currently the edge is out of the truck, AFE is in and the magnaflow is on and i'm getting around 14.9 mpg with normal driving. IIRC I did test 1 tank w/o the edge and saw real low 14's so the mpg bump may be .75ish. my problem is my right foot...

get the ats, you'll love it.
