I have an 05 CTD with the automatic... I have heard that my truck already has this feature... how do I use it? and is it already enabled?

to tell if it is enabled, with the truck running and in park, turn the cruise control on, push set, if the RPM's jump to 1000 then it is already enabled, pushing accel will increase RPM's 100RPM, decel will do the same down.

if nothing happens then you need to have it enabled and the dealership can do this for you.

If its not already done, I beleive your dealer can do it. With my Bully Dog I have the option of enabling it.

FYI: Dodge says the idle control is not available on the manuals, but there is a feature known as auto idle and I just recently had mine enabled. When it gets below a certain temp, say 20, then the auto idle kicks in and runs about 1k rpm until shut off. Pretty interesting feature if you can't use the idle control like Drew is talking about.

You can use the manual idle up feature with the manual transmission. You just need to either buy a clutch switch kit from Cummins or Dodge (cummins is cheaper), and have it enabled.
