electric fan on an 04 ram diesel?
flex-a-lite makes a setup for the duramax so i'd have to assume you should be able to get it done on the CTD. if your looking to replace the clutch fan, i'd go with 5500 cfm or greater. if your looking to add one to the front as an aux fan, then use the spal fan controller setup and a 12~14" pusher fan.
I'm looking to do the aux fan myself, using the spal controller off the IAT to try to help keep the intake air charge at or below 110 deg. cooler would be better however my butt dyno tells me that between 100~110, my motor is burning the mix the best and making the most
power.
there were a couple of puller fans on e-bay made by procomp that pulled 2700~2750 cfm each. 16" IIRC. one possiblity for you is to get 2 of them and put them under the existing fan shroud.
