Default B&M drain plug leaks

Changed trany fluid, filter and installed B&M drain plug kit yesterday (used loctite on retaining nut, thanks Drew). This mornin i go out and spot a new drip spot on the driveway[>:], fluid is leaking out of the draun plug bolt. Now I wouldn't have thought I would need to or want to teflon tape the drain plug, woudnt want bits of tape running around the inside of the trany. Gonna try another quarter turn tighter, any thoughts or recomendations? Thanks, Matt

You might try going to autozone and getting an oil drain plug gasket. They are just little pieces of plastic that look washers. They also make that teflon in liquid from that you just put on the treads. It does seem wierd that it would leak though.

Got nervous to fast, got under it and got another 3/4 turn or so, seems to have stopped. Thanks, Matt
