06 3500 trasmission slipping
my transmission slips a little in 1st & 2nd. Changed the fluid & filter and the slipping stopped but now its trying to start slipping again. Sometimes I can fill the
transmission catch if I am stopped with the vehicle in gear. Does anyone have any ideas?

bands may need to be adjusted, although I havent done it on mine... IIRC, the bands can cause slipping. if your truck is stock, start there. if not, then you may need to upgrade valve bodies... thats what i'm working on as my '05 slips in 2nd
I just went round and round with my dealer and DC about the trans in my 05.... long story short around 45K miles it started surging/slipping at the 1-2 upshift..... under warranty so I took it back and the DC hotline told them that was "normal"... it hadn't been normal for mine for the first 44k miles so I continued to take it back and they finally replaced the valve body under warranty.... works now like it should....... the service manager told me as I left " let me know it that helps, I have 3 more here I'll fo that to if it works....."
