Just some info....
Well i went to the stealer ship on saturday for some warrenty issues and picked one of the techs minds there...and here is what i found out...
He said that there has been a few guys come in and have to have there whole engine replaced because of bio deisel.. he said because it can be off just a little it can and will damage your motor and you should stick with regular deisel he said they have had 6 motor replacements and numerous warrenty issues that were denied by chrysler...
also as far as if a chip can be detected by the dealer.. the dealer say they can detect a chip every time.. every single time but i dont think they can and this is why...
the stupid tech kept telling me that anytime you plug into the data port it is detected by there computer and well i know some might but mine does not plug into that port one of the techs there said that with a chip like mine before he does the reading i have elevated numbers but went i take the chip off it reads stock without erasing anything... i am still not positive that they cant detect my chip and only time will tell but i dont think they can so i am going to sleep well at night.. but for only haveing my truck for like 4 months and having 12k miles on it i dont think i am going to have to worry about my chip very much or about chrysler...
what i would like to know though is does anyone know about aftermarket warrenties is there a good one out there???

interesting info on the Biodiesel... I've heard of guys running it over long periods w/o any problems.
the pcm could have a function in it that detects the number of connections on it. could easily be done by the pcm programming. fortunately for me the TST does not connect to the data port. the edge did.

Whoa ..... that's wild ....
I think that tech was just full of DC programming. I ran B20 in my Ford 6.0L and I have run a couple tanks in my new truck. It runs quieter, smoother, and gets better mileage. Now if someone is running home made bio that is a different story. The commercial stuff is fine. There are also a lot of guys out there that run B100 and love it. Ford used to give me the same line, it will clog your injectors. If the big three don't stop shooting them selves in the foot by trying to prop up the oil companies, they are going to loose their butts.
