Anybody considering upgrading their u joints on a 3rd generation? If so, what kind are you considering? I have an 04.5 2500 4x4 CTD LWB Quad Cab and i have had 2 u joints replaced, one at the front of the rear driveshaft and one at the rear. Dealer says DS is OK and that they have had a fair number of faulty u joints in the newer trucks. It won't be too long before i am out of my powertrain warranty and potentially have to buy more u joints. I don't mind getting and installing u joints, but i would like to go with the best greasable i can find. Anybody's opinions are appreciated.
