found this in the forsale section... 4" aero.
nope, you will loose some low end torque however... just keep that in mind.
my current aero/mag setup works well and has brought back some low end lost when using the mag by itself.

the aero by itself would be pretty loud or a shorter magnflow. both are straigth thru designs, the aero has a split in it so it's not a 100% straight thru... meaning the exhaust flow is split at the entry point by an outer ring and exhaust is sent to the outside of the muffler, then reintroduced to the main exhasut flow.
if you want loud, straight pipe it.

there a guy I see on occasion that has a 99 (I think) 24 valve 3500 that is straight piped and that bad boy will rattle the windows on my little truck and it is by no means quiet either
.for a 22RFE 4 banger it sounds good when romping on the trottle at 2500rpm. LCE full exhaust from the head to the tail, it has a nasty rattle and is VERY loud when cold. the neighbors know when I'm leaving in that thing. just have to adjust the tail pipe a bit to get rid of the rattle.
if you want loud, straight pipe is the way to go. . .and for even more resonance just cut the muffler off and have the exhaust end under the bed.

if the exhaust doesnt point down a little and it doesnt pass the rear axle there will be a terrible drone inside the cab.
when you guys say straight pipe are you talking straight piped from turbo down or cat back?

you could do either... some of those that did it from the turbo back had to put something back in it was so loud. of the guys here with the dually 2nd gen (maroon one) has his tip pointed back towards the rear of the truck.
Mine does not have the CAT, I wonder how loud she will be...... I can't wait to get home... Then of course it will be dark... but will let you know how it sounds.
tell you what, if you want LOUD, take the exhaust off completely, then fassion on a pipe to go from the turbo and dump just after the passangers side front wheel[sm=badbadbad.gif]

I have the bolt on exhaust- so should I just take the muffler off and then it will be shorter, place it out in front of the wheel?
