Default Dealer knows nothing on high idle!

Well, I went to get the high idle activated the other day. The dealer says they have never heard of that option. They are checking into it.

Tell them to hook up the "Star Scan Tool" to it and go to the place where options are (ie daytime running lights ect) There will be an option there for high idle (not sure of name but it is obvious). They enable and confirm choice. Bam you're done.

I had to try the same education process here in M.B. - SC, dealer had no idea. Once I explained, they wanted me to make an appointment for my truck and would then charge +- $80.00 per hour or portion thereof to do the mod.
I do not have the time or money for ignorance!

ya know,, that is such BULLSH**. You figure, after spending $35-50,000 on a truck, they could at least do something as simple as enable a freakin feature on the truck. I'ts not like their adding an aftermarket item that you purchased seperately,, the high idle is a freakin feature, it's part of the truck, why should you be charged to have it enabled.
