Default New mirrors

finally got rid of those little ones that came stock. $230 later I have the flip out ones now. Why didn't dodge put these things on the dually from the factory?

you had the floppy eared mirrors too huh? I was pissed to see that I had them on my truck. Even though it had the tow package. dumb in my opinion.

I know what you mean. That was the first thing that had to get changed on my truck. Those little guys are worthless.

Mayfair, they're easy to swap. Remove the door panels and it's 3 nuts that hold them on, plus a wire plug if you have electrics. Had both mine changed in under 20 min.

Are these new ones also electric? I kinda dig having the electric mirrors.

You can get the tow mirrors in either electric or manual depending on what you currently have. Or there's aftermarket ones too. Mine were manual and I didn't feel like doing a lot of wiring to get electrics... yet...

But, if you have electric and get the electric replacements, it should be simple to pop the wiring off the current on onto the new in just a few seconds.

I swapped out mine recently too and it was really easy. These are so much nicer, I think they should come stock too.

No pics, I fried the computer I use to scale them down. It made some smoke followed by a funny smell. I was told by the dealer that if you use dodge mirrors, you can't get power/heat flip out ones for 02 and older. They make them for 03 and newer. As far as the install, It only took 1 1/2 hours. The kit was put together real nice. I was impresed with the quality.
