Default front wheel play.....

I was doing my 7500 mile service( 06 2500 diesel 6 speed manual) changed oil and filter, fuel filter, wheel rotation and just overall look over as i do every time i service my vehicles cking making sure nothing is loose... I do beat on my truck hardcore so she deserves some TLC every now and then but any way i was cking the ball joints and links in the front end and i have play in the frotn wheels ... with the wheels off the ground no load on anything axles just hanging.. if i grab the top and bottom of the wheel i can rock it and there is alot of play... more on the drivers then the pass... i cked ball joints seems to be no play.. as far as i can tell the play is coming from the bearing...axle nut has cotter pin and dont seem to have backed off or loosend.. i have noticed on rougher roads it seems the wander i bit more then new... tiresare ok no feathering or weird wear.. wondering if anyones had this? or is this little play normal?? i know for sure wheni did my 3750 service there was no play... what do u guys think?? also i wanna put a 2 inch leveling kit do u know if they will not warrenty suspension parts if i have that?? i know they will reject it for most suspension lifts ??????????????

they probably wont say anything about the spacer, but if you put larger tires on they will frown against that and possible not cover some drive terrain stuff. Its up to the dealship.

try taking a big pry bar and pry up on the tire from the floor. This way you can watch the ball joints closer.
If there isnt any movement than your wheel bearing is shot.

If it is the bearings, pull the cotter pin and tighten it up a notch and see what the play is. To actually adjust them right torque to 150+ ftlbs while spinning, back off. Then torque to 50ftlbs while spinning and then back of 1/4 turn.
