This guy seems high priced too. 28K for a 2004?

You may just hafta take a little longer drive than usual to find both a good deal and a good truck. With the deals and incentives that the dealers are giving up these day's you just might be better off with a new one in the long run.

The prices on the dieselland website are with $2,000 down or trade. The prices are already high and then add 2 grand! I'm not trying to **** in your cherios or offend you. I'm from NH...try driving up Rte 125 from Plaistow to Epping their has to be 20 used car lots and with so many lots so close to each other the prices are quite reasonable. Just trying to help

JM, even if you did actually **** in my cherrios, it wouldn't offend me. In fact, I think I would fall out of my chair laughing.

Seriously, the advice and feedback on this forum are great. I would never get "offended" by someone telling me their honest opinion. That's what I come here for. Anyway, you are exactly correct. Those are high prices to begin with, and listing the price with a little * indicating in small print in the corner that the price represents $2000 down or trade is, um................BOGUS.

Too much worrying in this country about "offending" people who might not agree with you. It kills real exchange of honest opinions. I'm not gonna get off on that rant, cuz this ain't the time or place.

I might ride through Plaistow to see what you're talking about. I'm also thinking of looking for a dualie 2WD as those seem to be more reasonably priced.

And there's always Uncle Henry's. If you're from NH, you probably know what I'm talking about. Just picked up this weeks copy today: there's a 93 D250 long bed 4X4 CTD one owner for $8500, and it's in Sebago which is just down the road from me. And a 94 CTD for $5800 in Conway, NH.

As Mayfair said: they're out there.
