Default 06 CTD boost questions

Just installed my edge with A2 and have some questions.

1. What is the boost on a stock truck?
2. When I talked to edge they said they set the boost limit at 36 but 40 is ok(stock is 28-30 they said), is that true? I tow heavy load and hit 36 way too easy. Right now I have it set to 38 and it seems to not hit the limit.
3. What are normal EGT's when towing heavy uphill. I set the limit at 1375 but is it ok to go higher than that for a short time while going up a big grade?

Any help appreciated!

we are actualy wastegatted to 26psi. however I can hit 35psi very easy under stock conditions. 35-40 psi will not hurt a thing, just dont go above 45psi or you will be looking for a new turbo.

1375 is getting quite warm for egt's 1350 is about as much as I would go.

I thought after 40 psi you start floating the head and you needed to swap to headstuds.

Ive seen guys hit 55psi on the stock head gasket on these HPCR engines. granted it was a one time run, and if I was going that high I would stud the head.

Dunno about the 06, but our 05 610 reads 30psi spikes with a 'settled in' level around 28, all stock according to the AutoMeter gauge I installed (along with EGT and trans temp).
