Default Front wheel, hub bearing

I am having a bearing problem with my 04 3500 4wd 5.9 diesel. I've replaced 5 wheel hub bearings in the last 10 mo. or 900 / 2000 miles, they are all on the right front. The dealer says they can't find anything wrong with the supporting components. I've emailed Dana corp. the mfg. of the dana 60 which is the axle 4 wheel dr assembly, that is the platform for the wheel bearing. the 3500 is a sealed bearing mounted in a steel hub and mounted with 4 bolts. Utube has video of the disassembly and replacement process, well worth watching.

Thumbs up front wheel bearing 2004 3500 4 wheel cummins ram

my last posting at that time i had 4 failed right front wheel bearing all were replaced by a dodge dealer. three done by the same one. now on my 5th one so far so good. the problem was they never replaced the rear seal, it ended up being cheaper by replacing the hole axle assembly. i live on a dirt road 5 miles of dirt. so it didn't take long for the wheel to fine about a 15 degree angle, it doesn't help steering or braking. my 5th wheel trailer save me the last time. the bearing on my truck is sealed no lube needed. good luck with any of your wheel bearing problems. keep your eye on them dealers they just change parts until they finally get the right one
